Productive

Yesterday ended into today so the hours of sleep were reduced but that didn’t deter me from getting to the lake. I slept in an extra hour, right to half last six. The dog woke me with his incessant whining and scratching. I opened the door and scared the piss out of him, literally. I cleaned it up and got my line wet. I started facing south again, this time with my newer rod and a fake minnow. It wasn’t long after I switched spots that I caught a similarly sized fish. I had another one on first but was slow setting the hook. I had another one after and did the same. Only one got caught again, despite getting to fight three.

I had to hustle home to meet the new WB but ai missed him by five minutes. I got the Chef to call him and redirect him to complete my meat meets. Another T errand in between as well as redoing the setup on my lines found me approaching the midday. My mother had a list of tasks for me to work on over the week, I’d gotten the tomatoes transplanted and cleaned up the “land mines”. Next on the list was to burn the burn pile.

Somewhere between all that I was able to grab a nap, do an hour of work work, and take an hour call. My parents disappeared for an hour to trim my grandfather’s memorial tree but returned for supper. After which was the main event, the COVID cut. My Mom said she’d tackle it, with one previous cut to her record. We setup a chair and I videoed it all. It took well over a half hour but I made it a time lapse video so it’s thirty seconds long. I’m trimmed up for another few weeks now. The beard remains untouched, completely natural. I can explore its possibilities for a while longer now. It’s the one time in my life that I’ll have it so I’m going to push the limits.
