Works-day

The day began suddenly and early. I woke up and couldn’t get back under so was finished my entire morning routine by half six and decided to go check if my long awaited, delayed Amazon package had shown up. I wandered casually up to the mailbox and found it there with a couple bills. I’ve been on the hunt for a backup/replacement spatula for a long time, a couple years likely. I had a hard plastic one piece with a specific lie to the handle and desired something similar. My currently blue one has some chips in it now and I’ve been worried that should it break I’ll lose my number egg flipping weapon. Now I can rest easier. Here they are side by each to show the similar lie and hard plastic construction. It was worth the $30!

I eventually started working at seven, which is wildly early, especially at this time of the year. I took a break around noon to tuck into a plate of chicken bites and some rice crispy square. Tasty but not overly nutritious. I put down the pencil at six and prepared a can of soup. After the dishes I don’t really recall what I did. I think it was mostly YouTube and podcasts for the remainder of the evening. Essentially I let Jesus take the wheel and ended up going to sleep pretty early.
