Last of Work

Today was the planned last day of professional exertion for the remainder of the year. Always a dicey proposition when most of your job is working with many external customers who have their own timelines. In contrast to the previous day, this time I overslept, possibly as a consequence to yesterday, and ended up skipping over breakfast. Instead I had a call then enjoyed some coffee and rice crispy square close to ten. I had a long chat with a customer until past noon so had a later lunch. I took the time to microwave some Our Finest pad thai. It was very nice and gave me an excuse to use my chopsticks I got in China. There was a quarterly meeting for our North American product management group and that went to five and I had a follow up meeting with someone until half six. To celebrate being done I decided to put a little more gusto into dinner, it had been awhile. I had to use some chicken breasts that were threatening to turn so I seasoned them and opened them wide and put in the air fryer. I warned a can of peas in the microwave also. Towards the end of the cook time for the chicken I added some shredded cheese to two breasts to dress it up some. this created a sizeable mess. While the chicken was still piping hot I draped it in medium salsa for some kick and to follow Admiral Bonesaw’s special chicken recipe. By the time I’d eaten and cleaned up the meal it was getting later so I enjoyed some YouTube and treated myself to an early bedtime.
