Fast Paced Living

You know things have been a bit crazy when you only use the stairs, toilet and bed in your house. The rest of my life has been taking place somewhere else. Actually many other places. I've been out there every day from the time the sun comes up until well after it goes to bed. The main thrust of it is over for now. There are several odds and ends left to handle but the worst is over. I've braved the big storm for another year. All my research trials are in and staked out. I've created many little graveyards all over the countryside. Buried seeds with markers. Pretty much the same thing, if you want to be morose about it. And I do. Speaking of morose, wouldn't it be crazy weird if when we planted our dead they grew into something else. The elegant example is naturally a tree. But I'm sure there are further, more offensive examples. I can't think of any currently and don't like the direction that is heading so I'll pull back on the reins and guide this filly down a different trail. So work, work, work, no play at all. Not even evenings to decompress and relax for a couple of hours at the end of the day. Such is the field I have chosen I suppose. I still have some things to do that are time sensitive but once they are complete I can finally catch my breath. My FitBit is telling me that I've been really going wild with steps. I've broken and re-broken my record for steps in a week over the last couple of weeks. That is exciting. I'm doing much more than even last year. It's nice out today, I think I'd better mow the lawn, have to check first though to make sure there aren't any bunnies growing in it. I checked the site metrics too and it looks like all my readers went away when I did. I might only be writing this for myself now. At least I'll read it.
