New Week, New Adventure

I had to bulk update the Musings from the brief notes I had taken previously. It was my first chance with some dead time to fill. Once that was done the rest of the house was up and happening and we loaded in to go to the Beall's outlet to purchase a specific water bottle. This apparently had been in the works for several days worth of patient waiting. I also bought some other gift items. One for me and one for Brown/She. We got back home and decided we could kill some time to be able to eat lunch at home before heading to the ocean. We took a scenic drive to Bathtub Bay and walked the beach. There were cool out croppings of rocks and the water was active. I took some nice videos and photos that I can't share just yet. When we'd had enough of the surf and watching for Portugese Man of Wars we loaded up and went to a higher end grocery shop called the Fresh Market. There was organic and non-GMO labels as far as the eye could see. It was very pricey too but the sandwiches we dined on later that night were delicious. We made one more stop on the way back to get some arts and craft supplies for my hosts to fill any downtime with. We had to shoot out to grab some more beer later that afternoon too. Apparently someone has been drinking them quickly. In the spirit of beer we had a nice cocktail hour with some laughs and flirted with the idea of playing cricket darts. Uncle Al produced some delights from the sea for us to snack on. Smoked salmon from the grocer and smoked oysters were nice. There was a fish paste too that was nice to eat in the mouth. We had th main thrust of our dinner and played some cards. I lost again. We then settled in to watch our boys from Northern Ontario play their draw at the Brier. They won and as such we all went to bed happy.
