Vacation Nation

I can feel my vacation getting violently yanked away from me slowly. Today for instance, I haven't done much of the things I envisioned myself doing. I have a meeting with a guy later this afternoon, at a time when he lets me know so I'm basically held hostage by that. I have a set meeting tomorrow morning but I have to do some preparation for it and I was invited on an emergency basis to a meeting this morning. I didn't get the invite until hours after it was over. I missed that one because I was busy cooking up a storm. I made myself a luxurious breakfast with most of the trimmings. I then baked all my potatoes and then baked them again after removing the guts and mixing in some bacon, cheese and spices. Those are a special prize for later today. I hope to sup on them in fact with some meat and vegetables. I haven't watched any of my shows but I have completed the laundry for the week. So at least I'm staying alive. I hope to do some cleaning intermittently also.

Tonight, I think I will drop in on Cheese with hopes of recording a new conversation. We've been out of the game for a long time and we're due for some new material. I think I am going to push hard on the guest pieces as well to get the content flowing out of me for you to enjoy, or at least tell me you sometimes enjoy. That is assuming we've been in touch. 

My lawn will need work over the weekend as well. I think I might give it another taste of some selective herbicide to make sure the broadleaf weeds stop in their tracks. I'm trained and well versed in this past-time. I think it will look delightful again for the fall. This will be most beneficial. That is probably all I need to spew out for now. I will likely duck back in with something a bit later. Keep coming back to check.
