Finale Monday
I was able to watch two wildly cliffhanger season finale episodes tonight. For both my shows. That you know, if you have been following along. They are Silicon Valley and Game of Thrones of course! Both to be found on HBO. I was not shocked by Game of Thrones having read the books but was quite taken aback by the ending on Silicon Valley. I won't reveal anything here but my heart will be sore in the morning. I glad real life isn't like that. I'm not sure I'd be able to stand it. I'd have to live in a dark room by the sea with just one window and a small bed. Food would come twice a day and water every four hours. Just like the Man in the Iron Mask movie. I could probably handle that if I had something to occupy my mind. I suppose being in the tower by choice would make that an entirely different situation for Leo. If you don't know the story to which I am referring then perhaps you should read a book. I recently re-read the Count of Monte Cristo. I will now begin re-reading the fifth Game of Thrones book as per an arrangement with Rek. He had forgotten a great deal many things of the various story lines so I felt compelled to urge him to re-read the novel and I would do the same. There is something to be said for the power of solidarity. We can discuss things further at the weekend event we'll be jointly attending this weekend in the wilds of our native lands. No details there for Cheese!
I think I'm ready to start going to bed a touch earlier. Today was a bit slow in the morning to get things running, mayhaps because I didn't get to enjoy a delicious coffee from McDonald's this morning. It truly is a magical fluid that gets my brain started early on in the day. I don't usually drink coffee, but when I do, I prefer it to be McDonald's. I think that's about all I can think to spout at this time. I will drop off for now and let you enjoy the rest of your day. Come back for more tomorrow.
