Building Excitement

The excitement for the weekend adventure is building now. It's only a few sleeps away. It will be the first opportunity for the Tugboat to really let it loose in a long time. Probably since Jamaica. It's been all work and no play for too long. Time for ol' Johnny to get out for a rip eh bud? Well maybe not all work, actually not all work at all. There have been opportunities for play, not exactly a-plenty but ample surely. Either way, the big day is coming very quickly so I will have to make a list and scramble to get it all together. It's gonna be a real rip.

With my work plans moving along as planned I don't really have much to say either good nor bad on the subject so I will talk about something else entirely, likely much to the delight of the reader. Earlier tonight before we sat down to produce Episode 29 of Conversations with Cheese and the Tugboat, listen if you dare, I was spending some time reading over He-man lore. I'm not even sure how it happened. I think I was watching something on YouTube and saw a Skeletor video come up and then another and then one about the origins of Skeletor. I've never done a very deep dive into the back stories of He-man characters but now I'm very interested. I watched the video and learned enough to be able to do some searches in Wikipedia. I found what I was after and more. Then I read a couple more articles. I had to stop because of frustration. I really want them to finally make a He-man movie. They are booting up every other franchise and super hero they can find, why not He-man? They need to repair the damage done by the 1987 live action flop that they made. It was awful. Now we have the special effect magic to make it awesome. I plead with Hollywood to make it happen. Don't do it for me! Do it for the children, they are our future!
