Thursday or Thor's Day?
Well, that's a wrap on my huge corn meeting! I think it went much better than last year. Last year it was not good apparently. Like really bad. No one liked it. So I added some bells and whistles. It was much better this time around, or so I was told. All the stress and hard work of the last few days seemed to have been worth it. We looked at over one hundred different products in seven or so hours. It was grueling and a long day but it's done. And now I can focus on corn. Wait...yup. More corn. Harvest is winding down with only a few plots to take off but it's the season of the data summary that is upcoming now. And oddly we have time to actually do them all in our leisure. Or, I will have leisure time to focus on finishing chapter 2 of my short story. Or fixing the chair that has been waiting for me to learn how to do woodworking for almost two years now. I bought the necessary equipment, just need to apply myself. Like I do to stringing my "new" rod and reel. Which has also been patiently waiting in my garage for well over a year. I never even thought to look that skill up on YouTube. Internet to the rescue again. Success. Anyways, I'm pretty tired and pining for the sweet caress of my bed and blankets. Stay thirsty my friends. But within moderation.
