Where did Monday go?

So it's Tuesday now. I had meant to jump back in on Sunday and drone on about voting some more. I did vote also, right at suppertime of the Sunday of Thanksgiving. It was a calm as you'd think. Then the day dawned on Monday, or donned on it. I have no idea. Such a strange little literary device there. Anyways, so Monday happened. I left my house around half past seven in the morning, got to McDonald's as I had slept in, and looked at the weather on my phone in the longer than normal drive-thru lineup. The forecast had changed. There was rain overnight. This destroyed all my plans of taking notes and meant I had to choose a spot to harvest beans. I got to work, made my selection after careful consideration and we struck off. Everything went smoothly. I was able to take some notes at a site nearby and we hammered through it as quickly as could be expected. We cleaned our combine off, loaded up and headed home. By the time we got there it was after nine in the evening. I got home closer to ten. So that day flew by, smooth as a infant's ass, but at the same time disappeared. I think the expression is, time flies when you're having fun or something of that nature? Either way, the best part is that it didn't rain. What a trip?! Mother Nature, you continue to be a cruel, stone hearted bitch sometimes. No rain is fine by me, I can get after another site today instead of those notes. Here we go again! Woooo-whooo!
