Grizzly Game Recap - Game 6

The ship has been righted. But just barely. The Grizz took an 8-7 decision this week. It was a back and forth battle that saw the Grizz out gun their opponents. Beer Guy and the Admiral were finally paired together and showed off the chemistry that years playing together can boast. Poor Rek was odd man out and paired with a returning player who had been missing in action for the last few weeks. The team put together a solid game. The only slip was a number of long range goals that the opponents netted on the goalie. They fell behind early but battled back and took the lead. There were lead changes but in the third the Grizz went ahead for keeps and despite some tense moments at the end of the game, they held on. Details were sparse out of this match but it seems that cooler heads and hotter sticks was the mantra that lead the Grizz to the victory. Despite not putting up any points Rek was given beer. Probably to recompense for the ones he didn't get the weeks before. It will be interesting to see how they react in their next match-up.
