Terrific Tuesday

Usual fare for breakfast. Massive sleep, nearly nine hours. Worked on my database project in the morning and then helped out a colleague looking to understand some stuff I used to handle. Had a bi-weekly call with my Canadian smaller team which lead into lunch. Lunch consisted of some chicken fingers and dip. That polished off a bag and freed up some real estate in the freezer. The afternoon was spent finishing my database project, fielding calls and generally getting after it. It was a fairly solid day. For dinner, on the night of a game I had to support the team. I bought this solely to take a picture to post. It was good and I had something new with it. This is a Crave Turkey & Bacon Ranch melt. It was more flavourful than I expected but over all mediocre.

I took my extra full guts out to the driveway and put in a pretty intense thirty minutes and got it all cleaned out. Now all the driveways as far as the eye can see are clean and glistening EXCEPT for the degen across the street. He’s never once shovelled his driveway in the eight years I’ve lived here so it’s not big surprise. He also doesn’t cut the grass in the summer. Anyways, I came in and crawled downstairs to recover and watched a couple episodes of Outlander. Having read the book, and needing a new show, I decided to dabble in it. By the time the second one ended it was time for the Leafs! They were playing a couple hours later since they are in Calgary. I watched them dominate the first and then be dominated in the second. The third I watched in my bed with the Mini. I fell asleep almost instantly but did wake up magically in time to hear Marner score the eventual winner. At that point I rolled over satisfied and slept soundly until morning.
