Loose Ends
I’ve made no secret of the fact that I’m planning a vacation outside of my home. Since the government allowed for the bubble concept I’ve mentioned previously it has emboldened me to to follow this course of action. My plans are locked in and nothing remains but the preparation and execution of them. Part of the preparation is to tie off some loose ends, both personal and professional. The professional ones are more boring and I elaborated on them already. Mostly working to pretty up some documents and make them more complete than they have ever been. I spent the morning finding and documenting the deficiencies and the rest of the day and part of the early evening resolving them. But that was once work started. Prior to that, I ran a couple of errands, mostly because I was up very early. I got a tremendous McBreakfast for the first time in a long time, at least this kind, and I deposited my tax refund. I over-invested in RRSP by mistake and got a big refund. That is worrisome because I’ve burned some of my ability to do that in a year where it wasn’t necessary. I’d like to buy the minimum every year to not have to pay taxes, thus maintaining my ability to do that longer. Nobody has been able to tell me why that isn’t a strong plan yet, still waiting. Those things and a load of laundry were done before 7:30am so I started work early. I’m planning to utilize my summer hours to travel North and be home for the evening hours to visit my folks, two additions to my bubble. To have access to those hours I have to work an extra fifty minutes a day for Monday to Thursday, I over achieved on that this week for sure. After a quick and unremarkable meal of cheesy beef burritos, I pack a suitcase quickly. I capped a very productive day off with some C&C gameplay with Theodore Complete, Ronny Ronks and some guy from Facebook. We had a massive come from behind victory, nice way to end the day.
