Oopsy
Well would you look at that, I’ve neglected this little outreach program again. My creative outpouring in general has not been so neglected though. I will quickly bring you up to speed on what has been transpiring to lead to such a formidable lapse in my online presence. So, a day after my last point to this venue I escaped the country for a few days. I went on a well publicized trip with the Chef back into the heart of Texas. We were going back to seek our “revenge.” In reality we were trying to finish the vacation that we’d planned in the spring. You will recall that we went south in March and came back with a great story and experience. You can listen to the six part Conversation that was posted towards the end of March. That being said you can also listen to the five part Conversation that was posted on Boxing Day. They are short episodes so don’t get your hair in a tangle. The overall experience was good, and we can check the box on that part of the world. The next move was to change my clothes from +20C to -20C and make the trek up North to my homelands for the holidays. I arrived in good form, got my drink on with GRP, Admiral Bonesaw, and Dutchie on the first night, went home and woke up sick. I remained ill (sinus cold, achey and the scoots) for the duration of the break. I ended up staying a pair of extra days which enabled me to see the Beer Guy (but not Fraunce of the Young Prince). Upon my triumphant return I sought to engage in some leisure time, to shake off the hustle of the fall. I became hopeless addicted to Red Dead Redemption 2. It is one of the rare games that sucks me in. I lose large chunks of time due to it. I made a fateful decision on one of the days to binge the rest of a book I’d started since returning so that ate the majority of a day also. It was book two of the Mistborn trilogy: Well of Ascension. That brought me up to the New Year. I started hard back into work on January 2. Well, hard is an overstatement, I’ve been deigning to be done by 4-4:30pm each day. That is a drastic change from what I had been doing. I used that extra time to put together some more YouTube videos. I’ll put another post up in a bit with those so you can access them here rather than trying to search my channel over there. I’ve been trying to keep my RDR2 addiction in check, with some slips, for the most part since. I did do some physical activity a couple of days so far in 2019 so that is an encouraging sign from the ol’ Tugboat. I was also able to pull Cheese out of his hiatus and knock out a new Conversation for your pleasure. I keep busy but would like to keep coming at ya on here, so keep checking.
