May the 4th be with you
Star Wars day to some, a regular Thursday to others. Whatever the case, I hope this day finds you well. After some light misadventure, I think we have about as much of the seed as we're going to get. It will be soon be time for spring to start. Get the Spring Rush on! I'm hoping to be ready by early next week if I can be. It's been a struggle. So has my health kick. If you've listened to episode 69 of Conversations you'd know that I was killing it on my health kick. I've been slowly trending in the right direction all year but before Easter I was doing it right. Now I'm languishing back into depravity. It's certainly disheartening. I'm told that Ronny Ronks is suffering a similar fate but he was well ahead of me for results when he started to backslide. I think he's maintaining a semblance of his health kick but life has caught up to us both. It's a true struggle. He has other worries, intense job, baby girl, probably going to have another one in the near future. He's due! Plus he lost all that weight, it's a wonder his wife can keep her hands off him! I'm going to try and get him fired up and at the same time get myself back on track. Teamwork is always better than lone wolves trying to eat the whole forest. That being said, I've found my evenings rather hollow this week. I think it's mostly from losing my addiction. I spent one night entirely watching all episodes of the Gorburger Show. Put a check beside those. Another I was spent working on Conversations and reading my next book, this written by Agent Scully herself. So far I find it intriguing, I'll share more later on that. I cleared my DVR and helped Brown with summer appetizer concepts on another night. Things have been pretty dull during the week for the Tugboat. We'll see what the weekend has in store. We'll be experiencing a monsoon over the next couple of days so I should have the weekend to myself for maybe the last time in May. I wonder what I can do with it?
