Fireworked Again

I don't understand why my body likes to wake up earlier than normal the later I go to bed. I was still asleep before the 11th hour but my internal clock must have decided waking up sooner would be a good idea. I opened my eyes shortly after five in the morning and was wide awake. I tried to slip back into a deep, restful sleep but my body was not having any of it. So I lay there, listening to a podcast about another physicist who can speak science to the layman. It was exciting to hear but mostly I was just mad that I was awake. I started to stir around 6 bells and got things cleaned up, had my shower and was ready to face the world at 6:45 am. I decided a McBreakfast was in order and hit that up, then the gas station before arriving at 7 am to Wal-Mart for my groceries. I was home and unpacked before eight. I had a short list of things to accomplish but did none of them. Instead I stripped down to my boxers and played Red Dead Redemption until 2 pm. That is six hours, non-stop. Well a couple of bathroom breaks. After this I wasn't feeling well (surprise, surprise) and had to eat. I kept up a steady diet of water until bed to try and alleviate a headache. My neighbour across the street had people over and they just say in their garage and drank and smoked all day. They were quiet but I was careful not to make too much noise or ruckass as the day played out. I found myself watching some taped shows. I had taped the first season of Letterkenny on Canada Day and zipped through all of those for the second time. It was short, I'd watched the first two when they aired and I know the third one is a stinker so it was really just 90 minutes of glory. It's good, if you grew up in a small town you really need to watch it. That brings me pretty much up to the present. I had good intentions and started the day strong but let it slip away in ridiculous fashion. I have a laundry list of things to accomplish tomorrow now, including laundry! I guess we'll see if I can sustain a longer, regular burn tomorrow or if I'll just light quickly and fizzle out after a big pop of activity. Stay tuned to find out!
