Another Sunny One!

Last time I stopped by all I could rant about was the rain. I was overrun with excitement. As it turns out, it was nothing to call home about. Sure it was the first real rain of the summer and it had been so long I almost forgot what it looked like. I'm still wishing it was more than a few short hours. I'd like to find myself encompassed by at least one day of continuous shower. I guess that is not in the cards. I didn't do too much on our nation's birthday after all. I watched some shows, got caught up on a few other things. Sorted through some old files and such. It was not a complete waste of day. I found my bed at a decent hour after watching the marathon Jays game. They went 19 innings! They literally ran out of pitchers and had to get guys off the bench to suit up. The winning homerun was off of a utility infielder. It was exciting to watch nonetheless. Once that was done I tied into something senseless and when it was all said and done I laid my mane to rest after ten bells. I picked up where I left off on Saturday. This time though I updated my PS3 and got it humming nicely in the master suite. I watched the Maze Runner and Scorch Trials, two films that had intrigued me. I did enjoy the premise, especially the psychological testing aspects but the overall movies didn't blow my world apart, entertaining though. After this concluded I wanted to reset my state of mind from these relatively depressing thrillers to something more fun as I prepared to go to a BBQ at a friend's place. I sought out Jimmy Carr first, then I was entertained by Jim Jeffries. Both crude but funny. The second special ended about the time I was supposed to leave and I still had to shower and tame the mane. I made it just in time. I was going in fairly blind to this one, I knew that he recent got engaged and was expecting a bit of a crowd. It was all his buddies from home and their wives and some kids. As it turned out, I ended up being the thirteenth wheel at the party. Which is fine, I got to catch up with my friend and have a really good meal. He wasn't kidding about his turkey burgers. The kids were the entertainment and it was a lovely evening. I got home and immediately jumped back in the sack. Ran through a couple of "not good" movies on TV then decided to update you all on the happenings of the day via a mobile device. What an age we live in, am I right?!
