Grizzly Game Recap - Winter Game 9

Details were sparse for this week's matchup. This seems to be a recurring theme for the reporters in the field. But we do know that things did not going as well for the Grizz as they have in the past few weeks. The Grizz did start very well and came out of the gate flying. They amassed a quick 3-0 lead in the first period. But sensing another easy victory they started to coast and were never able to get things back in gear. The second unit forward line had a particularly bad night which ended with them on for four goals against and none for. The Grizz seemed to run out of gas, especially the Beer Guy, but their tender kept things respectable. Both the Beer Guy and Admiral Bonesaw notched a goal each but in the end it was not enough as the match finished in a 4-4 draw. Of note was a penalty shot in the final ten seconds but with the dynamic duo on the bench the Grizz missed that chance to salvage the win with some late game heroics. The winning streak is snapped but the Grizz remain undefeated on the year.
