Wednesday Already
Today was my last full day in the saddle ahead of my vacation to the sun lands. I had a lot of loose ends to tie up and I think I managed to get them all secured. I'll fret some more later this evening about things I could have possibly missed but I'm living under the assumption that I got it all tackled. I meticulously went over my inbox to ensure that I had everything covered off. Even I as I write this I recall an item that I should tackle. Fun part of this is that between writing item and I in that last sentence I actually paused, switched computers and did the task. Then I thought of another that I should cover off but it is more detail oriented and I'm not going to attempt it until I've eaten. Rek called in there too which prolonged the task. Well that and the program's new habit of freezing after two minutes. So you have to do short bursts of work, save, close and then re-open. It is not ideal. I hope they get that cleaned up in the off-season. But to my point, I think I have almost everything wrapped up. Taking a week off is apparently a stressful deal. I wanted to do it in March which seems to be the only slow month of our year and I didn't want to overlap with the real March break. Costs rise and everything is busier on that week. I'm going Friday to Friday as well which is a weird move but it reduced my costs and I avoid the glut of airport traffic. I'm getting excited for my voyage. I'll be in London for the day tomorrow attending a trade show so I may not get the opportunity to hit you up again before I depart. I plan to bring a tablet or two to use while I am down there so there should be an opportunity for me to at least take notes of my adventures. I anticipate fishing and looking at guns. Other than that I have no idea what my hosts are capable of. I am really feeling the need to eat. I better go quench that thirst. It's getting more and more immediate. I had more to say but I suppose it can wait for the next time, I'll keep it short. Always keep them wanting more kiddo, they'll love ya for it!
