Grizzly Game Recap - Winter Game 4
The Grizz won a laugher. There were few details provided by the usual suspects. Admiral Bonesaw was not in attendance. The Grizz came out strong and never looked back in 13-1 rout of their unnamed opponents. Rumouredly the opponents were using scabs. Maybe this was a tactic to throw off the heavy favourites. The Beer Guy was there and potted five goals and claims to accidentally have amassed several assists. The only story to come out of this match other than the score was that journeyman forward Johnny continued to show too much passion for the extra curriculars. He got his elbow injured in an altercation after the play. He was having a heated confrontation with an opponent. Then during the customary post game handshake, which should have been skipped given the outcome, the goalie and he got into a screaming match about this, that or the other. The goalie went as far as to begin to tap at his injured elbow with his blocker. The humanity. Hopefully we get an update and the extra nonsense gets nipped in the bud.
The league site had this to say:
"The Grizzlies played their typical strong team game at both ends of the floor. The Ottawa Chiefs were missing 4-regulars and brought in capable spares. But the Chiefs chemistry from the usual line-up was missing. Last week the Chiefs looked like a cohesive unit with that roster, but this match did not match that free-flowing feel to it. The Grizzlies full roster cruised to a 13-1 win."
