Tugboat Tirade

Well, I haven't given up writing the odd piece. Now that my field season is officially over and I've almost got all my summaries done a month early I'm finding myself with more free time. I've already put the yard away. I cut the grass, raked and it, and repeated the process last Sunday then put away all my furniture since. My Christmas lights are up, my Christmas tree is up and decorated. I just have to finish the shopping and wrapping and I'm ready for Christmas. Apparently my size of jeans are impossible to order and the number one item on my Christmas list is impossible to get. So it's going to be an interesting Christmas gift wise.

I had planned on going on a Christmas tirade about how the retail and media world are dragging the holiday into October now but I've lost my rage. I was hot about it yesterday morning but too much time has passed and I'm all decorated up now so I'd almost be a hypocrite if I did it now. So I'll just cut this one short. I'm hoping to get back into the swing of regular posting soon. The site has been experiencing a binary code in terms of the number of visitors each day, either one or zero for the many that won't see the genius in that reference. Except of course for November 28th, 2016. It was a Monday morning, probably even cyber Monday. I had 51 visitors on that day, each looking at only one page. This vexes me. Did I get hacked? Should I move? I don't know what that was about. Brought the average back up though. If someone knows what happened or caused that I'd appreciate a head's up on what was happening. Everything seems intact so I'll take it for now.
