Slow Drag

Harvest would be going stronger but it keeps getting interrupted by intermittent rain days. The kind we usually get in the summer. I am hoping that we could get 4-5 days straight without rain and just hammer through and be done with this foolishness. It is really gumming up the works. It's also adversely affecting my health. I haven't eaten one meal in my home this week. The last dishes on the rack are from the Kraft Dinner I made myself on Sunday. I ate the whole box and I still feel like I need to cut things down. I went out for all the other meals. Even breakfast, which is the worst part. I've got the breakfast down to 800 calories but that is a third of my daily intake. I need to whittle it down further and also cut most of dinner out if I have any hope of making it to fifty years old. The physical toll of harvest is not aiding that cause either. It is a real grind. From a mental standpoint, I'm holding up better than in the past. But it's a challenge. I brought new tools to the game this year and they seem to be having a positive effect. This whole week has been a long grind. I'm hoping that things pop off soon. Keep your fingers crossed for the Tugboat.
