Highwayman
I'm settling in for another long excursion. This time East in stead of North. I do enjoy that I basically only travel one direction at a time for these long hauls. My bags are packed and by the door. I need to make sure I have enough clothing for the week of meetings and the extra curricular business of a social weekend. I'm looking forward to a nice quiet weekend at home, nestled in my bed like a precious artifact, but wait, nope! Not going to happen anytime soon. Ottawa this weekend, then it's the fabled toss next weekend. The crown jewel of the year. The early favourite for experience of the year. Don't worry, I'm not going to rest on my laurels, I am cooking up some killer plans for 2016. I hope to again focus my efforts on the life aspect of work-life balance as Cheese and I have outlined in our latest Conversation. Have a listen if you haven't already. This one applies to the mainstream and isn't one that we advise females not to partake of. But yes, I'm craving a wasted day or two of bliss. That type of day that really recharges the batteries. This non-stop travel and adventure can really take it out of a man. Imagine if I'd actually started exercising like I want to? Planking every morning for five minutes in different poses while adventuring East and North?! C'mon! No wonder I haven't bothered. That must be why. Anyways, it's time to go get this trip on the road. I'll try and check in with updates as the week slips along. Watch for them!
