Sunday Air Out

Today is a beautiful day. Perfect temperature, perfect cloud cover, just all around good. I'm going to spend most of it indoors doing my usual weekend routine of minor cleaning and major lounging. Sadly the day is already half over. I've done a few things though. The three toilets all got my attention earlier, a load of laundry found its way to the basement, and some blankets have been set outside to enjoy the fresh air. Doing that gave me the great idea to open some windows. The ambient air temperature outside is the same as inside so I can comfortably do that without disturbing any kind of balance. Already the fresh scent of nature has pervaded the entire home. It's cheap and delightful. The noise of the highway is barely audible in the distance but from time to time an idiot will drive by and disturb my serenity. Dummies revving engines on motorcycles or fools in jacked up pickup trucks trying desperately to spin the tires as they make the corner at the end of my street. I can't say I was ever as flagrant as they but I do recall being young and foolish so I can't blame them whole-heartedly, maybe just partially. I hope they get over it before it's too late. I mean, I'm sure the people at FOX Racing make great products but wearing them into your mid-twenties when you don't race motorcycles starts to be sad more than cool. Just my opinion I guess. I suppose they'd graduate to TAP-OUT gear at that point. Anyways, the house smells great.

I've found myself disappointed in new films on iTunes this week again also. I was hoping to watch the Kingsman this week but I guess I'm again too soon to rent it, for the fourth consecutive week. Just put it up when I can rent it! I'm not going to pay $30 to watch something I waited to come available to rent in my home. If I wanted to see it that bad I'd have gone to the theatre. I don't NEED to own movies anymore! I still do, but I don't NEED to. If I find I'm watching something more than three times a year then I buy it. If I find it in a deal bucket for less than a third of full price, I'll buy it. Just because it's not available to rent immediately on iTunes is not a reason I'd buy it. But alas, I wanted to be entertained at the time so I settled for Focus with Will Smith. I truly mean settled. The trailer was interesting but the movie wasn't. They tried real hard but I saw the "happy ending" (spoiler) coming from a mile away. There were some good twists though so hat's off for that. I probably wouldn't watch it again. Ever. But that's just my opinion. Well, the page is starting to scroll so I must have written too much. I'll pinch the post off here. Maybe see you tomorrow, maybe not. It's up to you to show up.....
