The Swing?

I guess I wasn't as back in the swing of things as I anticipated. Or perhaps I got too into the swing and got done swung right away. All for not, I have been absent these past days as the spring rush has consumed my life. I have been coming home at dusk and sitting for an hour to unwind then finding my bed, my slumber, and my peace. I bookend that by rising before the sun as well, before getting on the move. I have no groceries and my laundry is over-flowing. I have entered the danger zone. I am keeping up on my steps but I have to work hard to keep the sustenance that goes into my face as idealistic as a child's purity. It's funny for me because I watched Bad News Bears as I faded out last night and saw a bunch of twelve year olds swearing like truckers and fighting like sailors. Classic Billy Bob as they say.

I don't have any news of repute to share at this time. Farmers all over Canada are going strong and getting your food in the ground as another planting season rages on. My contribution has nicely begun, I'm still waiting for seed from the USA to plant the bulk of my stuff but that is an annual crisis that we explode over each annum only to have them chuckle, snort, tousle our hair and pat our head. I don't care for their condescension at all. Anyways, I don't want to get into that one bit. The only exciting thing is that I watched the Wedding Ringer at some point. It was funny but also a movie, not a string of clumsily strung together gags and catch phrases like many comedies seem to think is the way to entertain. There was a story with character development and some sprinkling of emotion dabbed over the top. It was a nice respite from the rush for me. A place to lose myself and quiet my ever-churning brain. Thanks Josh Gad. Anyways, it's time to rush off into the fray again, or is it the breach? The Hawk would know. Aw well, may the fourth be with you.
