Tuesday Surprises
The week has been busy but also not busy. It is strange. I am running around and getting small jobs done to prepare for spring but I still feel like we're a ways out. There is snow forecasted for later today so maybe that is to blame for my malaise. My team is again at full strength and we are going to be a force to be reckoned with this year. As I mentioned previously I have all returning assistants. We're like an experienced force, most of us in our prime. Peaking at the right time going into the season that counts. Okay, maybe it isn't as dramatic as that, maybe I should lay off the sports metaphors. Maybe not.
Last night was a very pleasant surprise. Cheese done showed up for a visit. He also brought food for me to eat, which was delicious! He's all grown up and can cook! The icing on the cake though was not gluten free, it was that he came to watch Star Wars. Something that has been missing in his life for many years is that he has not seen the epic saga. It was a strong move to approach me to fill that void. I have the complete saga on Blu-ray. He watched Episode 1 somewhere and that deepened his thirst to see the others. I provided the mental sustenance to slake that thirst. We got through Episode 2 and 3. He should have started at the originally released movies I know but the mistake is his and I wasn't going to slow his momentum. We stayed up later than usual but my lord was it worth it. I could go on and on about Star Wars but I have to get going. Toodles.
