Horrible Headache

Well it finally happened! I got a raging headache at work today. First time in my career that my job caused me mental anguish to the point that my head ached. I drank a copious amount of water throughout the day. Ate a balanced meal while at work and got up and walked around from time to time to avoid staring at a screen all day. I did my part body and mind! Do yours! I haven't taken any pills yet, which is probably not helping my situation. I should slam some Tylenol extra strength to tackle this issue but I'm going to try and gut it out. I have stress at work but it is the most stressful time of year for my position so I'm not stressed about the amount of stress. I kind of want to continue this rant and say stress as many times as I can in a sentence for my own amusement but I feel like very little of the audience would follow me on that voyage so I will steer the ship back to something more palatable and sensible.

The snow that had descended upon us from the heavens has dissipated to the point that it is a non factor again. The cold air temperature lingers though and will hang out over us for several more days. This means that planting will not occur. I feel guilty for being excited about that but the transition from the calmer winter months to hustle and bustle of the spring is not easily made in short order. More time to acclimatize to the rush is always easier to swallow. And it leaves me with my evenings free to do what I please and what I please but haven't gotten to do is watch more X-Files. I've been away from Scully and Mulder for almost a week now! I'm a third of the way through season three at this point and I have a long way to go. This might have to get bingier at some point.

For the time being though I am going to keep on keeping on as they hippies say. Or take it one day at a time as the boozers say. Or just not die as I say. That's been my plan for many years and I think I'll stick to it for the time being. Well, it's been a slice.
