The Monday Files
Once again, Monday has been unnecessarily busy. As per my previous two rants about Mondays/Fridays, the trend continues. No one paces themselves throughout the week. It is a rough concept. But I don't want to yammer on about that nonsense. Some big shows came back on the air and I watched them. Naturally I'm talking about the new season of Princess. Just kidding, Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley are back. Ensuring what I can only assume is a stranglehold of TV on Sunday nights for HBO. The first volley from each was exceptional as anticipated. I continue to enjoy the golden era of TV that we're living in now.
I did do other things with my evening however. I made a real meal. Well, real for me. It had all three kinds of food and was almost in the correct proportion for once. I had a committee meeting for something that is happening in June. We made great strides and are awaiting some news before I can share anything openly if I ever do. Which I don't play to, just to frustrate you all. Muhahaha. My iota of power not withstanding, I hope you keep reading. My creative force is fueled by confirmations of readership.
Speaking of creativity, I had an odd thought this morning. I was driving to work and happened to be behind the same car for some time. I wondered how fun it would be to just once orchestrate a massive tail operation with friends. Pick some random person, follow them to work innocuously and then the next day organize a rotating tail using walkie talkies and code names and the whole bit. It would like creep out the subject but it would probably be pretty fun to do. I took that random thought and used it to kindle a whole firestorm of ideas around the central concept. I don't think I will ever do it nor should you but it's a fun exercise to try when you're driving. Basically to figure out how you could do it and how many cars it would take and what streets, etc. Before you start shaking your head and calling me a weird guy remember that it was an exercise and made the commute much more interesting. If you have the gall, pretend you're doing it and plan how you'd follow yourself to work. Good luck.
