So I come to you from the land of the brave and the home of the free tonight. Yes, I am in America. And I don't mean the old word for the Star. If I was in a star it would probably be too much to handle, heat wise and also concept wise. I'm in a star? How did this happen? Can I get out? Are planets going to orbit differently when I'm in the star? How am I surviving this?!? But no, it is the actual country, the United States of America. So the people that banded together in geographies who are from that star. I think that is the literal translation. If you're not familiar with the story of the star then look at this credible internet people battling it out here. Without regard, I am in another country. It's strange and foreign here despite the commonalities between our nations. I can't use my phone here for fear of massive overage fees. My mother did that previously and it cost her dearly. Well it was monetarily but the point doesn't change. It cost. I stayed with the person pictured below last night due to familiar bond. We had a nice dinner. I cleaned a toilet. Good times. But that is not why I am here. There are people that can clean toilets already in this country, right Donald Trump ;) All in good fun no doubt. I am actually here for work, errr, for business. There is a NA meeting for corn. I am the only representative of Canada for my company at this point. I am expecting reinforcements to arrive tomorrow. One more person. We'll handle it, don't worry. So here I am, in a hotel room, actually a totally sweet hotel room, just working away the evening. I decided to just take a break and reach out to my people. I'm sure you're all edge of your seats.
Also, in case you didn't follow in the comments, Two Glasses of Wine won the Saturday Quiz. Maybe I will do something else up for this Saturday. Probably not, how do I top that brain tosser. Well it's getting to be the hour of the sheep so I better count.
As mentioned above. This was my American hostess.
