Harbour Bound

I woke up naturally and got myself packed up to depart. No shower, just cleaned up some and dressed. I didn’t leave right away, Admiral Bonesaw put on a fairly elaborate breakfast for us. I played with the girls while they cleaned up and then it was time to go. Before I did I asked them if they wanted me to take some drone shots. I hadn’t flown it all week and wanted to justify bringing it while giving them some nice photos of their palatial estate. The girls really liked the drone. There was some tense moments when a flock of big birds started going after it. I did a few photos, here are a couple.

After packing my toys up I was off. The drive was pretty uneventful. I had to stop at the first service station to replenish my fuel. I got a few snacks too, knowing I wasn’t stopping again for hours. The Big Smoke was predictably slow for no reason, otherwise it was fairly smooth sailing. I had to pee badly and was famished when I got home. I put food in the air fryer and then set about unpacking and watering all the plants. They were all in good shape. I ate a heaping bowl of perigees when I came back in.

I spent the rest of the day and evening catching up on MSF, YouTube and rotating laundry. It was nice to not have to go anywhere and to just relax for a few hours when the sun is out.
