Blown Saturday

This was one of those wasted days that I sometimes partake of. I was very slow to rise. I stayed in the darkness and played my MSF game for way too long, then transitioned to YouTube. Partway through the day I went to fill my guts with food. I decided to cook up a portion of perogies. I did them up as I usually do. They never sat very well.

I spent most of the day working on my Microsoft Solitaire Challenges as an excuse to listen to my audiobook. Many hours were whiled away doing that. I should have been cutting the lawn and getting all my laundry done but that’s not what transpired. I was able to rationalize all that away as I do. I eventually found my way down to my lair and watched some Netflix. I don’t recall what, it obviously wasn’t impactful. As the sun started to set, earlier than I’m used to, I warmed up some of the leftovers from the previous night. I don’t think I got it hot enough again and the hesistant feeling I had when eating potentially raw-ish food continued with the leftovers. I may have cursed this dish for myself, never being able to make it again with fear that I’ll get horribly ill from the consumption of it.

I spent part of the evening on the internet, studying things and doing some research on products I should be looking at buying. My expenses have started to creep up a bit over the last month and my rate of saving is dwindling so I’ll have to be more cognizant of what I’m putting money into. I was able to link up with Ronny Ronkman and play some Red Alert Remastered around nine. By ten we were both tired after a couple of big wins against AI opponents of increasing difficulty. It brough me back to early in the pandemic when that was a more regular type of thing. I didn’t waste much time in hitting the hay after we finished playing.
