Heroic Hump Day

Again I was up ahead of seven, starting to get back in the groove finally. It was a normal morning with a great breakfast, back into the groove for that too. Work started just head of eight and it was a quiet morning. No emails for the first couple hours of the day which allowed me time to catchup on and close out some items. Around half nine I ventured out to clean the inside windows of the truck. It felt like it was too nice of a day to stay inside. I think that desire to work outside had been building for awhile and the combo of a quiet morning and the right task aligned to get me out. While I was near the truck, I decided to rip up to the local equivalent of the DMV. I needed to ask a few questions to see what would be required to get a new plate for my boat trailer. That turned into an absolute debacle. It was a very unpleasant experience, the woman working ther seemed to intentionally be terrible and want to ruin my time. I softened the blow by going shopping for the Big T’s Father’s Day gift. I returned home, having been gone for only forty five minutes. There were a couple of emails to deal with and some training to do before it was lunch time. I made a mundane lunch out of a can of Campbell’s Chunky Pepper Steak and Potato soup and a Stouffer’s Bistro Crustini Turkey Bacon Club panini. Since patios are open I decided to eat on mine, again, beautiful day.

Afternoon flew by working on work. I may have found something that will lead to a tense discussion later. Ugh, why can’t people do things right? Powered down around half five. Then got a call from a colleague. Got cardboard pizza with added shredded cheese and hot sauce going again. It was well cooled by the time I ate it. Tried a little HomeScapes without paying anything until D&D time. Laid out my rant about the DMV for the fellas before the session began. It was a tense session, very unexpected direction. I got a big kill at the end but may have made a grievous, rookie mistake, we’ll see what happens between sessions. Bed was next.
