Moveable Monday

Up and at them ahead of seven. Got cleaned up and ready to rock. No eggs to be had so in lieu of breakfast I consumed a walk. It was the same route that I started last week. I pulled on my cowboy boots for today’s effort and I’m not sure that was the best idea. I had some singing blisters by the end of it. The other regret I created was not wearing a toque. My hair was still damp and I didn’t want to muss it up so I brought the toque in case but never put it on. Later in the day I worried I’d caught a chill. I didn’t feel amazing after the walk this time but I’m glad that I did it. I think it’s something I have to stick to for it to be more enjoyable. Currently it’s more of a chore than something I look forward to. Without breakfast I was able to get to the helm before eight and be ripping along. It was my week to chair our Monday meeting and I rushed the team through that process. Next up was a panel discussion for International Women’s Day. That was interesting. Nothing shocking came to light but rather reinforced what we’re trying to do already. That got me up to lunch. My first thought was for soup but without a sandwich component I lost interest and my eyes shifted to another part of the cupboard.

Because I hadn’t eaten breakfast I grabbed two regular chicken and one spicy chicken and made a mega batch. The term voracious isn’t extreme enough to describe how fiercely I attacked this mound. I refilled my empty thermos and trudged back upstairs. It was around half one and I started to feel sluggish. I started going harder on the water but it wasn’t helping. I didn’t have anything scheduled so I looked for a low impact activity I could do. I found a replay of an IT discussion and put that on and vegged in my chair. Secretly I was hoping to slip into a power nap. Never happened. I forced myself into the work and scheduled a few things for the week but was starting to get a headache. Everything was becoming unfavourable. I got an email I’d been looking for and that gave me something critical to cover off until the final gun of the day. I moved on to dinner. With a headache and not wanting to do anything pertinent I chucked some chicken bites in the air fryer. I’m confident that they were undercooked or something when I ate them. There was a reaction. After eating and cleaning up I went down to play FS19 and enjoyed it well enough. Headache was partially subsided and I got all my harvest done and was working on the next crop. It was shortly after nine that I felt too tired to go on, and the headache was coming back on. I knocked back some Tylenol and hit the sack. It wasn’t long before sleep took me.
