The Return

There isn’t much to report on this day, it will be a short one. I woke up at a normal time and had a normal morning routine. I went with the short stack of Eggos again and then got right to work. I was able to get some things done before the meeting got going at ten. I didn’t have side meetings to contend with so I settled in for the whole shebang. There were some things that came up as the day went on but in general I was able to get them or other questions answered as we went while still focusing on the task at hand. Lunch was unremarkable, much the same as previous days. Supper consisted of the final amount of my burrito mix. I do find it much improved with it mixed together first and salsa added. There was just enough to wrap up a pair of tortillas but they weren’t bursting by any means. I found out during dinner that a photo the Big T had taken of the sunset had made it on the local news station as part of their weather forecast. I’ve included the photo below for your enjoyment.

The really exciting thing that took place on this day, as the title would suggest is that the Leafs were back. The inter-squad game they played on Saturday was neat and all but this was the real deal. And they were taking on the long time rivals, Montreal. It was a game that looked like parts were shown on fast forward. It was thrilling to watch. I treated myself to a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and a can of Dr Pepper in the second period. What a treat it was. The Leafs pulled out the win in overtime with a beauty goal and all the Leaf fans like me got to go to bed full and happy. The evening portion of the day was pretty magnificent.
