Listless Saturday
Saturday passed by with no critical activity. It was a day thrown into the abyss. There was no restful sleep. There was no sleep in. There was no breakfast. Instead there was a movie on Netflix that wasn’t memorable enough to be shared. Hunger came calling and was quashed with a brunch meal of two packages of Knorr’s Chicken Sidekicks. Yes, the same dish I had for a midday meal the previous day. It was so good I wanted to play it again. Plus it is so easy and quick to prepare and clean up. So a strong feed there before slimming down to my lair to enjoy hours and hours of Sons of Anarchy. I was into season three and just keep going. Around six I paused to prepare a classic Tugboat delicacy. A garlic tuna pasta dish with green beans in the sauce. Mother had a strong negative reaction when I shared the news. It is sneakily delicious. Has some spice and depth of flavour. Fish in pasta sauce isn’t a traditional move that I’m aware of. Strong meal. The rest of the day and a portion of the night was spent in the lair watching the Sons.
