Extra Mundane Monday

As the title suggests, today was very mundane. Very little of value happened, other than work. I work up at a decent hour and conducted my regular morning routine, with the same breakfast as normal. I worked all morning. For lunch I crushed a can of soup (chicken and sausage gumbo by Campbell’s Chunky) and some nearly expired pizza buns. I worked all afternoon. Then I started working into the evening also. I had a can of Doctor Pepper and a full bag of all dressed Great Value brand chips for dinner, at my work computer. The work I was doing was somewhat unique I suppose. I was moving a decade worth of emails out of my inbox and into OneNote so that when my company enacts their “new” policy for people like me, I don’t lose years of reference material. I started this process on the last day available despite having known it was coming for months. I went from 7:45am to 11:30pm with just the two breaks for meals, not even for supper. It wasn’t all emails though, I had a few meetings and other calls to break up the day but even during those I kept moving emails on the side. I did finish my audiobook, Rhythm of War though. Then I immediately restarted it. I think I consumed it so hard that I didn’t get the full experience. I can say that I am very much enjoying my Audible subscription this month.
