Anticipation Day
Since the internet keeps declaring everyday in the calendar a day of something, often multiple things, I am going to call this day of this year Anticipation Day. It is the day before the fabled plunger toss. You can read a stylized recap of what happened in 2015 here. Spoiler alert, I was on the championship team! So you can garner some clue as to why this day was so burdened with anticipation. Tomorrow is the big day. The day we defend our titles as champions and let as many people know as we can that we were the champions of last year. Apparently this is part of winning. For me personally it will be an opportunity to have some drinks, some laughs and some fun on a winter morning. I have several things to celebrate and drink about. Some are private for now and some I have already written about. So this is going to be my big chance to really go for it. I doubt I will get too crazy. I'm only bringing five bottles of beer and a dab of whiskey, at least that is what I have packed already. The bottles of beer are all larger than your average bottle but are still limited in number. All day it has been on my mind. I'm putting way too much weight on this event but it has made it very exciting to anticipate. The day has flown by, I managed to get a good amount of work done but I've been very preoccupied with my excitement. I have to leave soon to make the first leg of my journey there. I'm trying to do everything the same within reason to better our chance of winning under the assumption that some superstitions could be real. You can't take the chance that they aren't when it comes to the Toss! Tomorrow can't come fast enough!
