Day after the Weekend
Well, the weekend is over. It gone. I had a good time. I really enjoyed myself this time around. I didn't get up to anything crazy. Just some down home fun. I stayed home and did what I wanted basically. And it was everything I could have dreamed it would be. But enough about my shenanigans.
Last week I called out Eugenie Bouchard, the young Canadian tennis star. She must have read what I wrote and solved some issues because she played some very inspired tennis this week. Should I take full credit? Probably, but I can't this time. Her meteoric rise from the ashes like a phoenix was abruptly halted however. She had a mishap in the shower and hit her head rather hard. I know that game, takes me back to an Ottawa hotel room. Except for the flagrant nudity, I wish I had been able to watch myself. It would have been hilarious. Seems most of my spills are comical. Recall back to the spring when I fell down the front steps, hilarious. Picture a soapy man desperately trying to grasp at something as he slipped on soapy feet and took a massive tumble, ripping down the detachable portion of the shower curtain in the process. I also hit my head like our favourite female tennis star but I was not concussed, as much as I tried to convince myself that I was. I was able to carry on with my day. Poor Genie had to withdraw from her late stage match. I hope she recovers quickly and gets ready to set the world on fire next year.
