Just another manic Monday

Nothing like Sunday.....not another epic fun day......just another manic Monday. The tradition continues. People love to email and call and bug and needle and prod on Mondays and Fridays. This Monday was definitely the rule, not the exception. Emails, texts, calls. The barrage didn't dim until late day before a second wave attempted to overwhelm me. I also had my three assistants without a concrete plan due to the wet landscape. So for each I assigned a task, another would finish and come back for more. It felt like an unrelenting tidal wave. It was only exacerbated by the fact that I wanted to just finish a menial task which had been delayed until after planting. It was a tedious map making project that never seemed to go quickly. With constant interruptions both virtually and in person, it seemed all the more daunting. But I persevered in the end and got it all done and kept the kids busy for almost the entire day while fending off other distractions, all the while subduing each challenge that arose. I can make an annoying day sound much more dramatic than it actually was huh?

Anyways, second paragraph. Tonight J-Booj is going to swing into the Harbour to rest his weary head before being grilled with questions tomorrow to ascertain his worthiness of employment that they are offering to a steadfast candidate. I was more than happy to assist him in his endeavours. I wish him luck, both now and tomorrow. He should be along soon so I'm going to cut it short, or the usual length, and leave you to your devices. Everyone hope and pray for his success.
