Finally Friday

Well the week has finally come to an end. With it some other items have wrapped up for the year. My farm is nearly officially closed up for the year. My hired help is done now and has been turned loose. Our preliminary data review meetings for the year have been completed. I always hate those meetings. You pull out of the numbers what you think the story for each experiment is but everyone interprets it a bit differently so there are always a multitude of edits to be done. This is a talent that I need to work on. My logic orientated brain prefers to tell the story as it appears, not to dig in further to glean extra value from some small difference. I have become more adept at running the statistics for each analysis and it is now a minor part of the overall process. Seems that practice makes perfect might not be too far off. 

The meetings themselves were held in the Royal City which gave me an admittedly limited opportunity to visit with Brown and She. I stayed with them but we seemed to be on opposite schedules again. I did get to see them for part of the evening so I'm pleased with that. I also did some shopping. I cleared about five people off my holiday list. I will start wrapping over the next week or two. My plan is to have it all fully wrapped and in a box ready to be transported North. Then to use that same box to bring my gifts home again. It is an efficient system. It's been a long week though. I think I'll go to bed.
