Back to the Grind

Tugboat made his safe return from the Eastern reaches of the province and got right back into things. It was a busy day which was heralded by an assortment of strange events. There was a grower day at the farm, Tugboat was not involved. There were helicopter rides as part of this. Left to my own devices, I was able to catch up on some notes and computer business. Once all the hoopla of the grower day died down, the Redbeards pulled out their combine and started testing it out and calibrating all the sensors for the initial plunge into harvest. Tugboat is growing a beard to celebrate harvest and the fact that he doesn't absolutely have to shave. His accomplice has a thick beard of red hair already. So they thought it appropriate to don the moniker for the time being. Hopefully it sticks, or the newer beard isn't gross. Well, the moral of the story is that despite it being a wild and busy day. Things are getting back to "normal" around here and it's going to be a long haul of bringing in the sheaves.
