Fall Perfection
Today was a very typical fall day. And I loved it. Cool and crisp this morning, leading to a sun and cloud mixture with a mid teens high for temperature and a beautiful day high for me. Near perfect fall day. And to make it more terrific, it was a tremendously productive day as well. I got two big plots off and my kid got a little one off. I had one scheduled and when another cancelled I fell ass backwards into the second. Both of them went quite well also. I couldn't have asked for more. But wait, there was more. I have had this Betty Crocker Tuna Helper in my cupboard for weeks. I don't recall when I bought it but I thought it would be a good base to build a meal on. It was going to cost very little. I only needed two cups of milk, two cup of hot water, some butter and tuna. The recipe called for one can but isn't two better than one? I also added in a can of peas. It turned into an awesome casserole. I added some bread crumbs and some Parmesan cheese on top and finished it in the oven. It was a delight. I ate more than I should have as it was beyond delicious. Just goes to show you don't need to turn your nose up at a cheap meal. I would do it again, and again, and again. A nice prize for a great day. Also the moon was amazing. Moonrise?
