Fantastic Friday

I am writing this entry post humourously. Because I just watched a great comedy show. See what I did there? No? Well, try harder next time. I traveled to London to see Cheese perform in his Improv troupe. I got the ticket from him and sat with his wife Two Glasses of Wine. Her and I had a visit beforehand while he was at the venue doing his preparations. We headed over and grabbed a drink and seats in advance of the venue filling to capacity, which it very nearly did. I imagine our arrival akin to the point of filling a bottle when the fluid is nearly at the neck and things start to move quickly all of a sudden. If you can visualize that you'll know how perfectly we timed our arrival. It's like we'd done it before. That's what happens when two planners run the show. Or at least the plan to attend the show. Anyways, Cheese battle rapped about a pie eating contest at one point, much to our delight. It was a longer, single show which I much preferred. Some games were not amazing but overall the show was outstanding. Afterwards I had to hurriedly depart but it was a lovely night out.

But that was not the whole of my fantastic Friday, merely the capper. Before that I had my interview that you no doubt read about previously. Then I met up the Brown to dine. We hit up Buffalo Wild Wing and had just enough food to bring us to the brink of discomfort. After a quick stop, I dropped him at a pub to watch the Jays marathon defeat and I continued back to work. My assistant was also watching the game after doing a few menial tasks I had assigned, but not others. We decided to end off our week like that, celebrating the decision with a beer. It was a lovely end to the work portion of the week. So add it all up and I had a series of enjoyable experiences in a row to round out a very productive week. I'm looking forward to a day off tomorrow then another productive week.
