Well it happened, school just hit me. I have a lot to do this week so posts may be even more scarce than ever before. I have a lab that is due Monday at noon, I have to read a butt-load of stuff and I have a paltry 5 page paper due Thursday. Its all well within my grasp, especially with my very liberal schedule. The thing about it is that I don't want to do those things which is making them difficult if not cumbersome to complete. I turned down going out last night to read, what is wrong with me? Am I responsible now? Probably not because I read only a few pages then rationalized that I had done enough to play X-Box for the rest of the night, I love it!
What happened so far this weekend other than the aforementioned X-Box playing. Well nothing really other than going to Hamilton on Friday for supper with our colleague Christopher. It was good times in the Hammer as per usual. There is talk of a road trip to Ottawa, keep your fingers crossed Steve. I don't really have much else right now, I have a hockey game tonight at 11pm. Wish me luck, or don't, whatever.

Well, the weekend has come and gone and so has all my spare time. Started things off in Waterloo as predicted. It was a good time although Dave had to pull out early. Next night......I don't really remember. Oh ya, during the day (Saturday) we signed a new lease and will be moving into a brand new home come May. I do mean new, as in they aren't done building it yet. Sweet! My father will be returning this weekend and will be removing some of my junk from this locale and transporting it home to the Great White North. Sunday night we also spent in Waterloo this time celebrating the birth of my middle sister. Big T picked up most of the check. Ah yes, Saturday night, I did nothing, we rented Without a Paddle. I enjoyed it. So last night we played ESPN NFL 2K5. Awesome game, actually awe inspiring game. Addictive through the ying yang as well.
Big day today; not only did I go to all my classes I actually had them all to go to. Let me explain, today was the first actual Biochem Lab. Hence it was the first time that I had all my classes. I guess it wasn't really that complicated. Ok, that's enough boring blog for today. Toodles.

Ok, well I'm pretty well back into the swing of things after that good time in New York. I'm slated to go to Waterloo this weekend to celebrate my chum Will's birth. It should be good times. School is starting to appear as a daunting task especially with midterms sky-rocketing at my face. I don't really have all that much to add. I guess news about me is at a premium this week so I'll branch out to talk a bit about school. One class in particular interests me. Sustainable Rural Communities or Rural Sustainable Communities...I don't know or care. Either way the class is quite hard hitting and the hitting that it does is close to home, for me anyways. We are discussing the impact of globalization. Things are picking up, and the professor is a hoot. When he gets tired of talking he just quits and sometimes lectures are just not (my favourite function) staying home and not missing class is the bomb yo! I don't entirely know what that means but we'll go with it. That's all for today.

Well, I did it. I survived NYC. Things got a bit dicey for awhile but I was able to pull it off. Ya, its a big place but to let the secret cat out of the mystical bag I couldn't really tell a huge amount of difference between it and Toronto. The main thing of course was the foreign currency that I dolled out at every turn. The people, the atmosphere, similar to Canada. This is not just the farm boy in me talking either, my esteemed associate the Big Dong (a Toronto resident), agreed whole heartedly with me.
The trip was a resounding success though, all who took part had a great time and some went as far to say that they had the time of their lives. It was good fun all around. And to all those that pulled out or didn't want to come without a legitimate reason I mentally display the emoticon of the little guy sticking out his tongue. (Laziness prevents me from linking to an actual picture of it.) I bought nothing other than food and services while there, ie no trendy souvenirs. Sorry, I'm uncontrollably cheap. We did see everything you would want to see though. All but Yankee Stadium. The rest of the sites we tackled during our three day onslaught of the Big Apple. You might say that we took a bite out of the tourism industry there. Too soon?
I enjoyed the NBC studio tour and many other side attractions such as a dude pissing on a car in the middle of the afternoon. It was a hoot. To conclude this portion of my life I would have to say that we had a killer time. The pictures should be around in the future so if you want to see what a killer time looks like just let me know and I'll schedule a viewing.
I doubt that many people will read this post and without the regular posting of the exulted leader I fear that my own posting appetite has waned over these past weeks. I will attempt to circumvent this proverbial snag that life has sent careening towards me in future weeks and strive for more regularity. For the posting.....my bowels are in good to excellent condition. Peace out.

Hello all. I'm back. Its almost been a full month and I am rested and have a new lease on life. Or at least I should have. I'm going back to school and taking medium difficult courses and will finally be surrounded by girls again. Its been so long since I've seen the hordes of girls that I've forgotten what it is like. I'm excited and looking forward to seeing the "hordes".
Christmas brought me a good healthy swath of gifts and such, but before we get too far ahead of ourselves I've got to lay-out the pre-holiday rundown. First I complete a lengthy list of jobs put forth by my father; the majority of which were simple in nature and took less time than anticipated. The jobs took up a week of my time. Then came the rest week before the big day came. The rest week consisted of the good life, waking up late and watching horrible movies and what not all day. It was glorious. Then came the big day, we ran the gauntlet, so to speak, of holiday visits: grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc. Everything progressed in a hazy blur of activity over the next 3 days leaving me with a gain of $15 in poker winnings.
The days leading up to New Year's were also considered rest days although some minor work entailed. I did my follow-up shopping and got everything ready to return to the city. For New Year's I went to my friend Ashley's house and watched movies. I think I picked the right spot on account that there were alleged squabbles at the other major venue. I think I finished the year in an alright fashion.
After New Year's I did some work and went on a trip to my house in Guelph and back. It was good time spent with the old man. The rest of the week consisted of work and play. Which brings me to my present position of being back in Guelph. For the New Year I plan to continue use the English language with reckless abandon. I also plan to succeed in school where I have failed in the past and to live it up as always. My wrist hurts and I have to unpack my belongings. Hope everyone had a good time. Peace out.
